"Courage is the ability to face danger without fear". Dara

"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do"- Eleanor Roosevelt

I showed courage at school when I cut on my left hand on a glass window. The reason I got the deep cut was because I was trying to kick an ice cube. I slipped on some water, hit the glass and cut my hand. I yelled at the top of my lungs until someone heard me and came to help. I had to have about 25 stitches but yelling was not the courageous part. The courageous part was having to hear people constantly say "dude are you the one that hit the window"? Then completely random people say, "how many stitches did you get"? I had the courage to live up to the silly thing that I had done. Do I regret it? No, because I can look back an say "WOW! I had the courage to face my mistakes and live up to what I had done". My story is somewhat related to the quote by Eleanor Roosevelt.
