When school ended in December 2009 it was time to go home for the holiday. The family had no plans to travel abroad except for local traveling. When I opened the door to my living room, I was thrilled and happy that school has ended and I could do whatever I wanted. I woke up late in afternoon went to the gym to stretch and run some laps. It was tiring, but I felt better than before than before.

In the next morning my family decided to go on a trip to Genting Highland holiday Resort, it was cold and had to wear a jacket and 1 shirt but I still felt cold. Later we went to a theme park, it was one of the most exciting things I have ever done. Since I have been to Malaysia. When it was time to go home I felt sad because I had great fun. Our vacation wasn’t over because we had to go to Melaka, for one day but my parents said it was going to be used in the greatest way because our uncle K lives there and he knows the whole place.

As we got to his house he started telling us all the places he was going to take us to visit, it sounded interesting but what caught my ear was the eye of Malaysia. I wondered what it was going to be because it sounded interesting I could not wait for how exciting it would be what it was going to be. After site-seeing we felt hungry, then my uncle took us to a good restaurant in Melaka. Then we had to check into the hotel to have good sleep.

In the morning I was excited because it was time to go to the eye of Malaysia, I was literally jumping up and down as we came to the eye of Malaysia. It was the least that I expected, it was a it was a huge high rise tower that goes up and stays up for some time which gives a clear view of Malaysia it was extremely fun.

As the New Year began our family came together joyful and happy, and as we sat down on our coach we Said our New Year resolution for the year. This was one special moment that I will cherish forever.

My two resolutions for this year are as follows:-

1. To get a grade more than B or better in all of my subject. Also,

2. I want to learn something new in form of skills.

These resolutions are really important to me and I hope to abide by them to improve on my academic performance and be more useful at home.

There are some habits I feel I should stop for the sake of my studies and other school activities. Examples are: - sleeping late, not studying at the right time, spending too much time playing games and watching a television.

I hope at the end of the year this resolution will help me improve in my studies.
